Needle Play/ Piercing Play

Picture curtsey of author Sasha Brooke and partner.

It’s fun and for some relaxing some have little bursts of pain when the needle is inserted. For me it was both.

There are the obvious safety issues to keep in mind. Always use new needles and look up which gauge you need to use. Hygiene is another obvious one. Wear gloves, wipe blood away with sterile gauze and some would suggest getting the subject tested for transmittable diseases. A sharps container and any attributes you want to use to decorate, as seen in the picture.

There is a lot of information online for your search and practice makes perfect. With this I mean look up where you can get advice or even someone showing you, in real life, how to use the needles and where to puncture.

As the title says, needle Play or piercing Play. This means there are no permanent piercings or marks once the needles are removed. Similar to when your blood is drawn, it might take a day or two for a possible bruise to go away, but if done properly you won’t notice a thing afterwards.
